Dear CBC Finalist,

Congratulations for qualifying for the first ever CBC State Championship finals at Clear Lake on August 12th and 13th at Red Bud Park. You've made it through the locals and the regionals and that is something to be very proud of. Along with your invitation to the State Championship you have qualified to begin the 2011 campain at the Regional level instead of the local level. You will still need to pay the $118 entry but, your quest for the 2011 State Championship will be one step shorter than this season.

Schedule of Events

Thursday August 12, 2010
   8:00 AM - Mandatory Pre-tournament meeting for all anglers
   8:30 AM - 12:00 Noon - Angler meetings, interviews and polygraphs.
                                           Each of you will be assigned an exact time and you must be on time at the location for this meeting.
12:00 - 12:30 PM (noon) - Boat Checks and Launching
1:00 - Blast Off
   7:00/7:15/7:30 - Check in Time
   7:00 - 8:00 - Weigh in & Barbeque provided by Clear Lake Bait & Tackle

Friday August 13, 2010
    5:15-5:45 - Boat Checks and Launch
    12:00/12:15/12:30 Check in Time
    12:00 - 1:30 Weigh in
   2:00 - Awards Ceremonies
   3:00 - Conclusion

Confirmation Request
Please either reply to this email or call us at 415-755-8463 with a confirmation that you will either attend or not attend the event. We need to know either way as we are scheduling the meetings for day 1.

Accomodations
There are lots of places to stay in and around Clear Lake.
Clear Lake Cottages: 707-995-5253 This is a great place with dock slips and there 3 left.
Travelodge: 707-994-1499 This is a clean place right at Red Bud Park. Boat Parking is pretty good.
Best Western El Grande: 707-994-2000 This is about a block from Red Bud. Boat Parking
Lake Point Lodge: 707-998-4350   This is a 15 minute drive from Red Bud - in Clear Lake Oaks.
Limit Out Cottages : 707-998-1006

The City of Clear Lake is going to step up patrol of the park and areas around the hotels for us for the tournament dates. We should have no problems but, always lock everything and bring the important stuff into your rooms at night!

Lastly - Team Signups - Don't miss out
The sign-ups for the Team event have been going well with several of the lake close to full. Don't miss out on your chance to win another great CBC event! Remember for the team events 30 boats is the maximum per local. There are 8 locals and no regionals. That's right, finish in the top 6 at the local and you move directly to the state championship which will be held on a great body of water mid-state.  In order to keep the playing field as fair as possible we are not announcing that lake until January 2011. Yes, limits will be had by the majority of the field and lunkers live there too! We enjoy putting our anglers to the test to get to the CBC championship but, we do believe the State Championship should be good fishing, and it will be!
